Chocolate Bunny Super Hero! (And the Kiss revamped.)

This one's a Digital Art project that I really had fun with recently. It's really a Photoshop paint over project we had to do of ourselves in class. The goal was to turn yourself into some sort of Super Hero. I decided to make myself a kind of sweets themed hero; The Chocolate Bunny! With my Pancake Shield I will stop the fiends of the tainted Candy Monsters and save the World of Puddingea!

After that, here's a re-rendering and edit of a previous project I made, The Modernized Kiss.

La Machine Project (progress)

In school, I'm finally getting to Animation Concepts and Techniques! So our first project is called "La Machine". Basically we have to animate balls with a sort of contraption (think Rube Goldberg sort of ideas).

I decided to go with a forest theme...that involves cyclops doll heads having their eyeballs played with by giant cute bees. ^-^

The above is a (sucky) sketch I did in Photoshop...There will be a total of three "eyeballs, each flowing around in a different way.

After that, I drew it out the background in Flash and shaded it in gray-scale to get a feel of the color contrast I liked. I wanted it to be fairly dark yet colorful...I really like the muted color effect since Flash can be heavy on the eyes.

Finally I finished coloring it in, sticking to base coloers of purple and green. I may or may not tweek it as I go along, but I really like how it's turned out so far. (I'll make another post about character designs later.)

I'm so excited about this! Even though it's so early in my goal career, a tiny step is better than none, right?

Of Mermaids and Celestial Beings (sketchbook)

A couple pages from my sketchbook.

School Project (Modernize a famouse work of art)-The Kiss

For a project in my Digital Arts class, we had to chose a famous work of art and "modernize" it so that it was still recognizable, but notably different. I decided to go with Gustav Klimt's "The Kiss".

(It was originally done in Adobe Illustrator, so converted to jpg to upload...as soon as I can figure out how to upload the true high-rez version, I will. )

Several Older Things

These were done quite a while ago...I might as well post them here, just so they're not forgotten in the bowels of my laptop.  (The last two were actually done on the 3DS with the Colors3D App).

First Post

Hello! I'm new to this sight and just thought it'd be nice to post some of the things I like. Thanks for checking them out. :)
